A little unexpected of a post, but it is the month of Valentine’s afterall…

I have always considered myself to be a hopeless romantic and have always absolutely LOVED love stories. My favorite? Pride and Prejudice. BRB, now I want to watch it just from mentioning it… A lot of my favorite love quotes, as you will soon notice, are from some of my favorite love stories / movies. These books and movies have without a doubt shaped me into the lovestruck romantic that I am today.

“In vain have I struggled. It will not do. My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you.” Pride and Prejudice

“You have bewitched me, body and soul.” Pride and Prejudice

“I want all of you, forever, you and me, every day.” Nicholas Sparks

“Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.” Emily Bronte

“You should be kissed and often, and by someone who knows how.” Gone With the Wind

“Some love stories aren’t epic novels. Some are short stories, but that doesn’t make them any less filled with love.” Sex and the City

“Why limit love to one day a year?” – Lastly, with Valentine’s Day being today, I feel like this one resonates even more for me. To me, when you love each other so much, celebrating on one day of the year isn’t enough. It’s a cheesy, cliche holiday but I still love how it sets the mood and reminds couples to show their love for their significant other, friends and family. It may seem far-fetched to some, but doing small things throughout the year, instead of one single day of the year, is so much more meaningful. The hopeless romantic in me loves random flowers, random notes throughout the house, or simply just my coffee in bed. It’s the little things.

Whether you celebrate Valentines Day or not, just remember there are 364 (365 this year) other days in the year to show your love. Don’t limit it to just one day. Give them the love that they deserve each and every day.

Happy Valentines Day ♥️
