Ipsy x Gudetama Bag // July 2017

love me some gudetama booty

After a very, very, very long time, I finally resubscribed to the monthly Ipsy glambag. It was announced that this month, July, they would be collaborating with Gudetama, my absolute favorite Sanrio character. Gudetama is literally a lazy egg (tama is egg in Japanese) and he is seriously the cutest character EVER. I had to renew.

But I am actually somewhat disappointed with this months bag; I expected everything to be Gudetama inside, not just the Gudetama bag that everything comes in. Sadness. That’s just how much I love Gudetama.

So here’s the line-up for this month’s bag:

1. Beaute Basics – Travel Face Blender in Light Pink
I don’t use any face make-up (I only use eye make-up, to a limited extent), but I am also interested in trying out new things. A friend explained to me what to do with this little guy, so let’s see if I actually ever use it….

2. Cougar – 24-Hour Liquid Lipstick in Mulberry
LOVE me some lipstick, and I have so many; it’s a shame I don’t wear it enough. But this shade though, I can definitely see myself wearing on the reg.

3. TONYMOLY – I’m Real Sheets Masks in Green Tea and Lotus
Yay! Face masks! I actually still have a Gudetama face mask from my trip to Japan that I don’t ever want to part with. Super excited to try out these though; the green tea one is calling my name!

4. Ciate London – Wonderwand Gel-Kohl Hybrid Liner in Black
Eyeliner is one of my most-frequently used make-up products, so I never complain about receiving a new liner. My “wing” skills are ZERO, but I am really confident about stepping-up my game with this particular liner. Something about it just screams YOU CAN DO IT.

5. OFRA Cosmetics – ‘Gold Rush’ or ‘Victory’ Eyeshadow
After eyeliner (and mascara), eyeshadow is my next favorite make-up product. The beautiful, shimmery shades get me every time. I love neutral, earthy tones the best, so this sample is right in the ballpark.

That’s it for this month’s Ipsy review by moi. I plan on staying subscribed for a while because it’s just so incredibly affordable, so stay tuned for more reviews!
