Woah, it’s the last day of November. Only one month left of 2016!
This month I somehow managed to rack up 54.42 miles; a surprising feat since the NYC Marathon was at the beginning of the month. It isn’t a lot of miles, but normally I would have taken a bigger break from running. This time, not so much, thanks to the Runner’s World Winter Run Streak that began on Thanksgiving AND the fact that I have a half-marathon this Saturday; some much needed post-marathon motivation, if you ask me. So that is what helped drive me to run more this month than I did after my first marathon.
November was a great running month for me. It’s hard to imagine that the NYC Marathon was at the beginning of the month and it’s already over; it feels just like yesterday I was there running it! It was a month to remember.
And now the cold weather is finally coming in sporadically… which makes my runs even better. I much prefer cold running weather over hot weather any day!
Best of luck to you all in this last month of 2016. Rack up those miles to polish off the year, and have fun!
