It is Friday at last! But first, let me get a leg day workout and a run in before I can relax! Oh, and don’t forget work. Thank goodness I actually enjoy working out and running or what a miserable process that would be. Somehow I can’t imagine my evenings without some form of fitness involved!
I’m slowly easing back into my running schedule that was thrown off due to our two-week trip to Japan. Finally, I can focus on training. I had mentioned that I wanted to start marathon training for a marathon at the end of January. The idea is DAUNTING. Oh goodness. I know I can do anything I set my mind to, but I can’t help but be a tad bit scared. It’s 26 point freaking 2 miles. Excuse me while I go cry for the future loss of my toenails…
Today I had an easy run, which are always interesting on leg days — and I treated myself to my favorite candy, Swedish Fish! But the runs won’t always be as easy as today. They are going to get a lot longer. And at first it will be challenging, but eventually it will be a breeze.
To any of my readers who may be marathon training or even half-marathon training, good luck and never give up! You can do it!
